Hello
I am attempting to gather information about Stephen C. Williams (born 1808: Died 1886) from Newton county. He was married to Frances A. Wash from Newton county. He is my great-great grandfather. He had a son name Pleasant Terry Williams that married Julia Clarke (daughter of N. L. Clarke-also my great-great grandfather). I would like to know his and Frances burial location and what the initial C in his name stood for.
Thx Mike Meadows

My forbears were Jesse Jones Edwards and his wife, Narcissa Brooks of Newton County, Mississippi.

Some few years ago, I learned that the earliest of
my Brooks Forbears were from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and Rutherford County, North Carolina.

I have Legacy 8 family tree software (disc) that I do not need. Recent events with Ancestry.com indicates that Software MacKiev will assume ownership and support of Family Tree Maker software which is what I have been using for 15 years, I will mail the disc to whoever wants it at no charge.

In a quick browse of your website, I noticed a couple of references to Willaim Foster Parks. My g-g-grandfather, James Monroe Parks, was brother to William Foster. I'm seeking information on the origins of their father, John Parks, whee and when was he born, and who were his parents?

My grandfather said that his great grandfather was killed by a horse in Decatur Mississippi in 1849. His name was William Spencer Williams. He was married to Ellen Haley Williams. His son was born a little after his death in 1849. After W S Williams's death she married Sebron Pierce who had a daughter from a previous marrage named Amanda Jane. I would like to know if you have any information on the death of William Spencer Williams who died in 1849. Thank you for your help.
