My great grandfather was Nathan N. Parker son of Jonathan Parker; I believe that Nathan's half brother was Jesse; I also think that they lived in Newton County before my great grandfather moved to Louisiana. I do not know a lot about our family history.

Battlefield: The first settlers in northeastern Newton County found an area that contained a lot of arrowheads and similar artifacts. They made the assumption that a great Indian battle had taken place there; however, there is no historical evidence to that fact. Dr. Harold Graham

Looking for information on the Graham family that were in Newton County from the 1789 thru.1900's. Also Thomas family. All of which were at Graham Springs, which is no more. Do you have anything on these two families.
